Private-label plush toys: Approving label placement and attachment
Approve label placement, reading direction and attachment on the complete plush sample. Brand-label approval does not replace destination-market requirements.

A label with the correct wording can still change a product's appearance if its placement or reading direction is wrong. For private-label plush toys, review labels with the sample instead of sending the file only after the body is finished. The buyer should clarify both brand identity and requirements for the selling market.
Separate brand identity from information requiring verification
A brand label carries the brand name or logo. Product information, manufacturer details, warnings and market-specific information serve different purposes and must be checked against the requirements for the order. An attractive logo label does not establish that the complete labelling meets every requirement.
Supply buyer-approved artwork and wording with a version code. If the market team has not confirmed the text, mark it as pending. This article explains placement and attachment approval; it does not confirm compliance of a particular set of labels.
Review placement on a physical sample or sufficient views
Record the label dimensions, visible area and position relative to seams or accessories. Check the reading direction with the plush in its intended position. Labels on the body, clothing or foot can look different when the product is sitting, standing or hanging.
For illustration, version A places the label outside the clothing and version B places it in the body's side seam. Check whether it obscures details, affects how clothing is fitted or changes the side profile. These example positions are not technical solutions confirmed by Phat Dat for a particular product.
Notes for private-label approval
Confirm the artwork version, visible label size, placement and reading direction on the complete sample. Record which labels remain pending and who approves them. If clothing is removable, check the agreed label position with the product in its intended presentation, rather than reviewing artwork alone.
Market-specific labelling and test requirements must be confirmed separately by the relevant buyer or responsible party. Phat Dat serves domestic and international production projects; a placement approval should reference the correct sample and specification version. Keep approved files and change notes together to avoid using an obsolete label.
